LITTLE MONSTERS  
HEART DISEASE AWARENESS IN WOMEN CAMPAIGN
(CLIENT: WOMEN'S HEART HEALTH INITIATIVE, CRF) 

The #1 cause of death in women in the US,

heart disease poses a serious threat to women's lives. But if you stop a woman on the street, there is only a 50-50 chance that she'll be aware of the risk. On top of that, only 40% of women report receiving heart health assessments during their annual check ups, which means that even HCPs may not be giving heart disease in women adequate attention.

With 1 in 4 women dying of heart disease each year, the need for greater awareness is urgent.

The Little Monsters campaign was developed to help the Women's Heart Health Initiative build that awareness in women and communicate the danger of ignoring silent risk factors such as high cholesterol and high blood pressure. The Little Monsters are metaphors for these silent risk factors, which left unchecked, can grow into serious heart disease ... a full-sized monster.
